Skin to Steel is the first volume in Steel Statements, VANTA’s authored body of work.
This volume traces the evolution from tattoo artist to designer. Line moves from the body into steel, carrying with it discipline, permanence, and intent. What begins as a personal practice is transformed into an authored design language, where every decision is final and every form must hold its ground.
Volume I comprises a series of one-of-one works including Elementa, Kyoto, Damasca, Divina, and Steel Sanctuary. Each collection stands independently while contributing to a unified exploration of permanence, reduction, and presence.
Each acquisition includes a Certificate of Authenticity and entry into VANTA's private collector club.
