BRAVO MENU MUSE Metal Sculpture

The Bravo Menu Muse was born from the same energy that fuels every Bravo dinner — a seamless dance between art and food. Bravo itself began as an intimate collaboration between chef and artist, a space where plating a dish felt as deliberate and expressive as completing a piece of artwork. I wanted a sculptural object that could stand in the room with that same confidence, turning even the simple act of reading a menu into part of the experience.

At 1.8 metres tall, the Muse is a commanding figure. She carries the poise of a hostess and the elegance of a performer, her steel form both graceful and unwavering. The lines are classic VANTA — refined, balanced, and grounded in architectural integrity. But her silhouette is also deeply personal: inspired by the feminine presence that has anchored much of my work, she stands in quiet partnership with the dining experience, never overshadowing but always holding space.

Her purpose is practical — to display Bravo’s menus with clarity — but her design turns that practicality into theatre. Menus attach magnetically to her, easily changed between courses or events, transforming her from a static object into an active part of the evening’s rhythm. Guests approach her not just to see what they’ll be served, but to experience a moment of interaction with the art in the room.

For me, the Bravo Menu Muse is a Steel Statement in its purest form: she is beautiful without being decorative, functional without losing presence, and steeped in the same intentionality as a plated dish or a framed panel. She embodies Bravo’s philosophy — that design, flavour, and experience are inseparable.

Every Bravo event is a performance in miniature, and the Muse is one of its central players. She doesn’t just hold a menu — she holds attention, elevating the act of anticipation into something worthy of ceremony. She is a reminder that even the smallest details, when given weight and presence, can transform an evening into a legacy.
